Class Trips and Class Plays
As part of their curriculum, Grades 1 – 8 typically schedule a class play at some time during the year, and Grades 3 – 8 schedule a class trip. Dates and times will be announced by your child’s teacher as well as via the school newsletters and posted school calendar.
Class Meetings
Please plan on at least one parent per household attending your child’s class meetings.
Each class has a class meeting in the fall, winter, and an optional spring meeting. All class meetings are from 7:00-8:30 p.m. unless otherwise indicated by your child’s teacher. These evenings are for adults only. Babies in arms are welcomed. Check with your child’s teacher and posted school calendar for meeting dates and times.
Parent Education Events
We are hosting two Parent Education offerings this year. The dates are Saturday, October 24, in the morning, and Thursday, March 4, in the evening. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend these educational offerings. These are for adults only, though childcare will be offered on Oct. 24.
Other Special Dates to Note:
¨Conferences will be held in November and March for our grades programs. Early Childhood conferences will be held in January and February and as requested by families.
¨Helping Hands Building and Grounds Work Days will be held throughout the year. Please come out to help beautify our school and make it a clean, safe place to learn! August work day/evening: Wednesday, August 26, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Thursday, August 27, 5 p.m.-9 p.m.
